Hotel Filled with Japanese Atmosphere and Hospitality

Located near the center of Yamashiro Onsen area in the city of Kaga in Japan’s Hokuriku region, Hatori is an onsen hotel with the concept of offering our guests "comfort, kindness and warmth". The interior decor consists of materials with warmth such as natural wood, and Japanese paper and clay walls, providing a Japanese-style calming space for our guests. Natural elements are used in abundance in the guest rooms and baths where our guests can enjoy the atmosphere of Japan. We have also introduced universal design to respond to a broad range of requirements from our guests and provide them with an accessible and comfortable space. Our hotel is accessible to wheelchairs. Guide dogs for the blind and helper dogs are welcomed and we offer sign language service.

The hotel houses ten baths. The bath on the first floor, open 24 hours a day, has a luxurious ambience with a large cypress-wood ceiling emerging through indirect lighting. The bath on the second floor, open 5:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m., has a Jacuzzi in the Taisho-roman retro style bathroom. You can enjoy reflexology or different kinds of spa treatment after a bath.

The enjoyment offered by Hatori is not only from its hot springs and meals: there are plenty of fun activities. We organize a small live music performance from 9:00 p.m. Friday through Sunday at Lounge Hazuki, which functions as a tearoom in the daytime and a lounge in the evening. Our hotel’s popular Kaga Ikko-Ikki Taiko drum performance starts at 8:40 p.m. every night. Vigorous drum sounds and powerful dance movements will excite travelers.
